This week I wanted to share two of my favourite YouTube videos that I have been following along to help improve my flexibility.

Madfit

I stumbled onto Madfit during quarantine of last springtime, and I will be honest her workouts help keep me sane and healthy during such an unprecedented time.  So it only makes sense to keep it up now and partake in her “Beginner Flexibility Routine”. I think that her videos are great because she really takes the time to explain each stretch before doing them. The stretches flow nicely together, which makes it very enjoyable for my morning routine. Now I will be 100% honest I can not fully do all the stretches that she demonstrates, but it is a great video and I highly recommend it!

 

Yoga with Adriene

Yoga with Adriene is another YouTube video I used a lot during the quarantine of 2020. Although I was not familiar with her video about stretching because I was more focused on learning yoga during that time. A couple of great things about this video are:

  1. The way she explains each stretch is very informative and easy to understand
  2. The stretches that she teaches are not far fetched, and can actually be done
  3. It is only 16 minutes long, so with the shorter time I feel that is very achievable
  4. Her dog because I am a dog lover
