For my final presentation, I will be playing the song “Don’t Worry, Be Happy” by Bobby Mcferrin. I picked this song because it has a harder strumming pattern, which is down, down, up, down, up, down, up. The song also is being performed in the key of C, with the chords C, Dm, F.

Since the midterm, I have started practicing this song, and it has not been easy.  Not that I want it to be easy, but I find the strumming pattern very challenging along with the quick chord transitions. My goal by the end of this week to feel comfortable with the strumming pattern, and to keep practicing for my final presentation on December 1st.

Even though this song can be challenging, I find it very fitting for myself right now. The last few weeks of school are going to be challenging, and I need to remember not to worry, and be happy. This song has a very positive message, and a happy beat, which makes it enjoyable to learn.
