For my final musical growth, I learned how to play “Don’t Worry, Be Happy” by Bobby McFerrin on the ukulele.
I started by learning the strumming pattern (Down, Down Up, Up Down Up). When I began to incorporate it with the song I had a hard time with the pace. I found the pace too fast and adding in singing, strumming, and changing chords made it hard. So, with my final song I ended up with the strumming pattern (Down, Down, Up Down Up). I do have a video with myself demonstrating the first strumming pattern, but with the song, I have it with a different strumming pattern.
Don’t Worry, Be Happy
Strumming Pattern – Down, Down Up, Up Down Up
With the holidays in mind, I decided to try and learn how to play a portion of Auld Lang Syne. I kept it simple with downstrokes only and included the chords G, D7, and C.
Thank You!
